About Me.
Dvorah Silverman (she/they) is a queer Jewish settler living in diaspora on Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, and Squamish homelands ("Vancouver"). With over a decade of combined non-profit and public sector experience in equity-seeking organizations, their work has spanned the areas of change management, strategic advising, facilitation, evaluation, research, learning and development, communications, and program management. Dvorah holds an M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction: Equity Studies in Education, with a focus in critical pedagogies for decolonization, anti-racism, trans-inclusion and disability justice. A passionate educator and researcher, Dvorah brings an equity framework for education and a trauma-informed approach into all of their projects. Their work, research and life is guided by earth-based Jewish practices and Indigenous Knowledges that offer ways to be in reciprocal relationship with all life.
